Roz Macdonald is a double bass player from Ayr, Scotland, and has been based in Berlin since 2017.

She works across a range of musical styles, with a particular focus on jazz and improvised music. Roz performs regularly throughout Germany and across Europe, and has built a reputation both as a bandleader and as an in-demand sidemusician. She has collaborated with a number of internationally recognised artists, including Eddie Henderson, Chris Cheek, Bruce Barth, Melissa Aldana, and Scott Hamilton.

In 2022, she released her debut album Make Do with her Berlin trio. She is currently writing new music and preparing to record her second album under her own name.
